There are 20 000 unsold homes on the real estate market in Sofia because the supply toped the demand, announced Latchezar Iskrov  - Vice President of the National Real Property Association, in an interview with Darik Radio. The prices of properties in Bulgaria would not reach the real estate price levels in Eastern Europe because the homes are not ready to live in when offered on the market. "It is inaccurate to say that the prices of all properties will rise by 35% because each segment of the market develops in a different way", said Iskrov. In his opinion most considerably will rise the prices of luxury homes - they will remain high and will grow by 15% yearly.

Brokers will meet difficulties when dealing with middle class properties where the difference between supply and demand is the biggest. But precisely in that segment a price drop is expected. Homes offered in the lowest section of the real estate market will be the most easily sold. There the prices will remain under the level of 1000 euros per square meter.
