Too Hot for Bulgarian Ski Property 2008-06-10 11:54 News from News.bg
Bansko is Bulgaria`s Number One ski resort! The resort has seen massive investment in recent years within the skiing areas and infrastructure of the region. It also holds the title of having the best snow record and the longest ski season (15 Dec - 15 May) of all the Bulgarian ski resorts.
Bansko is a popular mountain resort, located in south-western Bulgaria, at the foot of the spectacular Pirin Mountain and just 160 kilometres from Sofia. It has developed into a favourite ski & snowboard destination, thanks to the excellent ski facilities and has become a haven for tourists in both winter and summer.
Bansko ski resort has excellent snow conditions with great snow cover and 44 Techno-Alpine snow cannons covering most of the slopes, making the ski season last longer. The slopes offer runs and tracks for all types of skiers and will suit both beginners and experts.
Large monitors located at the base station show pictures and information from the pistes displaying wind and temperature conditions. To relax and unwind, many people flock to the nearby village of Banya, located only 5 km from Bansko, for its therapeutic mineral springs.
Michael Johns, CEO, The Right Move Abroad comments: "Location and facilities are the two key points when purchasing a ski property."
The Right Move Abroad has chosen Bansko to offer an excellent investment opportunity for investors and lifestyle buyers - Bansko Royal Towers, situated in the southern part of Bansko, next to the beautiful Glazne river. It is located beside the gondola station and is just a short walk from the town centre. A new 18-hole golf course designed by Ian Woosnam is just 10 minutes drive away at Razlog.
"The amazing facilities in the Royal Towers complex plus its unrivalled location in the resort makes this a ski development on a par with any to be found the world over." Says Michael.
The traditional Bansko taverns ("Mehana"), with their exceptional charm and style, offer local atmosphere, complimented by good cuisine and Bulgarian wines. Most of the local "Mehanas" offer live folk music and there are many quaint local cafes and bars.
