In the area of the former Electronica works in Sofia Slatina neighbourhood started construction of Sofia 1 business park. It is situated on a site of 35,000 sq. m next to Sky City shopping centre.

The first sod was turned on 30 Sept. The start of such a significant project is a clear signal for the improvement of the investment climate, commented Plamen Andreev, manager of Planex Holding.

The investor of the project is a company with mainly Israeli participation B.S.R. Sofia AD. It has a project in Varna too - Varna 1 business complex.

The design was prepared with the participation of Bulgarian and Israeli architects and engineers - teams of BLK Architects - Israel, and Planning - Sofia, with leading architect Ilian Iliev. The general contractor after a competition is Planex Build, the building supervision is carried out by MMB Engineering.

The construction works will take three stages. The first one is two office buildings, the second includes buildings immediately next to the first ones, the third will be on the spot of the former Elektronica works on Shipchenski prohod blvd. as a gated community type complex.
