The Bulgarian luxury property market is still trying to match buy and sell prices, found a new study by Raiffeisen Real Estate.

Sofia property owners set 20% higher price tags than real deals. In Varna, on the Black Sea coast, the quality of upscale properties does not meet the requirements of potential customers.
The study said that prices in the mass segment have slid to where they were two years ago.

There, as well as in Varna, two-room flats are up for grabs at EUR 50,000 to EUR 70,000. This money can buy a two-room apartment in downtown Ruse, on the Danube, or a furnished flat in Burgas, on the seaside. The holiday segment is still in pain, with EUR 50-70,000 enough to buy an upscale three-room flat in Sunny Beach and St. Vlas resorts.
