The best cinema in Bulgaria. It was open 2001 in Sofia.
A total of 661 JBL speakers were used in this massive installation.
Arena 2001 has a total capacity of 3500 patrons. Arena 2001 contains 15 theatre halls, two of which are THX approved. A total number of 457 JBL Cinema Systems were installed in the theatres. In addition to the theatres, there are 11 restaurants and an on-site childcare center. In the childcare center, restaurants and surrounding areas 204 Control Contractor speakers were utilized. The JBL equipment list includes 5674 systems, 4632-T ScreenArrays, 3632-T ScreenArrays, 4645C subwoofers, 8340A surrounds, 8330A surrounds, Control 25T-WH, Control 26CT and Control 19CTS ceiling speakers. 179 Crown amplifiers, consisting of Crown CE1000 and CE2000 systems, powered the loudspeaker systems.

The museum displays folk costumes, fabrics, jewellers,woodcuttings, hammered ironwork, etc. A small craft shop sells crafts, costumes and musical instruments from all over Bulgaria. In the former Royal Palace on Tsar Osvohoditel Blvd., along with the National Art Gallery.

Gallery Rafaela is managed by Mrs Rafaela Koleva. The Gallery is offering a big variety of replica of Bulgarian Orthodox and foreign icons, replica of churches" and monasteries" frescos, original woodcarving and watercolors, oil paintings and other media, made by Mr. Nikolay Kolev and other artists. The Gallery was found in May 1996. It is situated in the center of Sofia, very near to the National Opera house and the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral.

Irina & Sons Icon Gallery is a private gallery , specialized in icon copies. icons are author"s hand painted replicas respecting the icon painting tradition - tempera on wood. The availability is between 40 and 50 pcs, different models. Prices are ex-gallery and on request for every model. Transport is additionally calculated.

National Natural History Museum

The museum was founded in 1889 and opened to visitors in 1907. Nowadays the museum has three major sections: Geology, Zoology and Botany. Apart from several meteorites, the "Earth and Space" exhibition features unique lunar samples and an impressive dinosaur skeleton. A special exhibition shows live pythons, crocodiles, and iguanas.

The St. Alexander Nevsky Patriarchal Cathedral Stauropigial Memorial-Church rises in the center of Sofia, in a big square bearing its name. The Cathedral represents the material expression of gratitude of the Bulgarian people for the remarkable self sacriftee of the 200,000 Russian heroes who by their unprecedented valour, resolution and boundless fraternal love, at the price of their blood and life, in the Russo-Turkish Liberation War (1877-1878) broke the chains of the neany five century Ottoman bondage and gaven the pepole their priceless freedom.

The crypt museum was founded in 1965 and contains items from the very beginnings of Bulgarian iconography (the end of the 9th century) until the end of the 19th century. All stages of the Bulgarian iconography school are represented in a collection of 1500 items.
