Inside the Farmhouse:
Once you enter the farmhouse this is where the Bulgarian style mixes and compliments with the western European comforts and modern lifestyle. The renovation was made to a high standard with kitchen, bathroom, living room and bedroom now providing a very comfortable living with double glazed units throughout. Throughout the farmhouse it still keeps very much to Bulgarian traditional style is decoration and taste. As you enter the farmhouse along the white concrete path you will be entering a garden purposely retaining very much the Bulgarian style with the farmyard and cart tucked away under the outhouses shelter. Looking beyond the garden through the vineyard trellis with uninterrupted view of the undulating Bulgarian countryside.

It is full of practical but beautiful plants and shrubs and of course the wine and rakia producing vines that cover the main area above you.

Underneath the vines is the patio area, well protected from the direct heat of the strong Bulgarian summer sun and a perfect place to relax with a cool refreshing drink accompanied by the wonderful nature surrounding you.

Extras/Notes:
*Food and daily supplies of all provision from shoes to bread provided can be bought from the local shop only 300 metres away.

*Milk, (from cow, goat or sheep - your choice) eggs and sirene (traditional white Bulgarian cheese) can be bought (actually, more often given) from neighbours at below shop prices.

*Electric, water and bottled gas for heating/cooking are provided for in the price for guests staying less than 28 days.

*All bedding and towels are provided

*A laundry and cleaning service is provided if required (a fee of a?15 is charged for this)

*There is a regular garden maintenance from the owners and food from the garden is offered free from the extensive grounds during the growing season.

Location: The guesthouse, Balova Shuma, is located in the memorial complex Balova Shunma above the village Gavril Genovo. The memorial complex is devoted to the everlasting memory of victims of freedom and democracy of the Chiprovski rebellion of 1688. The complex is a member of BAAT / Bulgarian Association for Alternative Tourism. Among oak forest with much greenery and well-shaped lanes, 2 km from the nearest settlement and 15 km from Montana, the guesthouse is the perfect place for your relaxation, discreet meeting or reunion.

Accommodation: There are 9 rooms and 1 suite, divided into solid brick houses with separate bathroom, television, air conditioning and satellite receiver in many of them. Most rooms are equipped with double beds and sofa sleepers suitable for accommodating families with children. Currently the price of a room is 30 leva. The guesthouse "Milanovi" is located at the top lane leading to the village Gavril Genovo, immediately after the bridge of rivers Chiprovska Ogosta. Located in a huge yard of 3.5 decars, among fruit trees and vegetation, the house offers 7 rooms with 4 bathrooms and toilets,  a dinning room with a huge fireplace with full kitchen furniture and 22 seats.

In the summer the two verandas of the house, equipped with tables for eating, create additional comfort and relaxing atmosphere together with the sound of the nearby river. The total accommodation capacity is up to 20 beds.
