A101: You can get a taxi (ok Supetrans) or a bus (#84) to the center (The University "Kliment Ohridski" and Orlov Most bridge). The route and stops from the Sofia airport are:

A102: Bulgaria has liberalized its visa policy as a gesture of reciprocity and to conform to international standards. A valid passport is all that is required for visitors from the EU and European Free Trade Association (EFTA) member states.
In addition, the citizens of Cuba, Croatia, the Republic of Korea, Macedonia, Serbia and Montenegro, Tunisia, Turkey and Switzerland may enter the country without a visa for a limited number of days with a normal valid passport.
A visa is also no longer required of visitors from the US, Israel, Japan, Cyprus, Hong Kong, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, for their stay in Bulgaria for limited number of days

A103: The online sales of bus tickets are still not available but there are no problems to buy tickets from the offices at the bus station. The bus schedule Sofia - Smolyan you can find at the official site of the Central Bus Station Sofia (Centralna Avtogara Sofia) - http://www.centralnaavtogara.bg . There is an English interface too.
