    Q50: What is the maximal amount of money I have bring with me when I pass the Bulgarian custom?
    A50: Please note that foreign currency more of than 4000 euros must be declared at customs offices on arrival. Failing to do so may result in confiscation. There is no limitation on the amount of money that you may bring with you, but they must be declared if they are more than 4000 Euros.

    Q52: What about tips when I pay the bill in Bulgarian bar/restaurant or for taxi services?
    A52: The tip (in Bulgarian "bakshish") is usual in bars and restaurants. Waiters wait for tip between 5-10% or sum to be rounded up (check the bill because in some cases the service fee is included in the bill and there is no need of additional tip). Taxi-drivers expect the bill to be rounded up to the nearest convenient figure too.

    A55: There are carriages for smokers and for non-smokers when you use trains within the country. Just ask receptionist while you buy the ticket for carriage you want.

    Q56: What is the climate in Kazanluk?
    A56: According to the climatic division of Bulgaria the territory of Kazanlak valley belongs to European continental climatic area, intermediate continental sub-area, region of the sub-Balkan low-mountainous hollows, and region of the eastern sub-Balkan hollows.
    The region of Kazanlak is characterised by not very cold winter, warm and relatively humid summer, long vegetation period. The maximum of the precipitation is in June, the minimum - in February and March. The droughts do not occur very often. Winds with west component predominate. Strong northern winds blow rarely. The average relative air humidity is 50-60%, the absolute - 4-12 mm.

    Q57: What is the maximum amount of money I have bring with me (in my pocket) when I pass the Bulgarian custom?
    A57: As physical person you are permitted to import/export money (in cash) in these ways:
    - up to 8000 BGN (4000 EUR) - without need to declare it at the Bulgarian custom
    - from 8000 to 25000 BGN - you must declare the ammount and prove their origin

    Q58: What kind of fees I have to pay when I pass the Bulgarian custom by my own car?
    A58: You must buy vignette for your car. There are different prices depend on the period - 1 week/1 month / 6 month and 1 year. The price for vignette for 1 month is 10 BGN (5 EUR)

    Q59: Is the euro accepted readily in Bulgaria or is it best to stick to the Lev?
    A59: Just change your euros in Levs because you can not pay with EUR in shops, restaurants, markets, stations, etc. There are a lot of change offices in cities and resorts where you can change your currency because in contrast to countries like Serbia and Croatia EUR is not accepted for payment in Bulgaria.
