Football Club Botev Plovdiv

History:
Botev Plovdiv is found in March 1912 from a group of students from The First graduating school. The club several times changes his name:

1912 Founded as SC Botev Plovdiv

1946 Fusioned with Shipka Plovdiv to OSC Hristo Botev Plovdiv

1947 Fusioned with St. Kiradgijev Plovdiv to ASC Botev Plovdiv

1951 Renamed in DNV Plovdiv

1955 Renamed in SCNA Plovdiv

1956 Renamed in ASC Botev Plovdiv

1967 Fusioned with DFS Spartak Plovdiv + Akademik Plovdiv to AFD Trakia Plovdiv

1986 Renamed in FC Trakia Plovdiv

1989 Renamed in FC Botev Plovdiv

The club is one of the best known clubs in Bulgaria. Many great Bulgarian football players had played in it.
