Football club Dunav Rousse

FC Dounav was founded 1957 as successor of FC Torpedo Rousse. The club starts in second ("B") football league but at next year it gains participation in first ("A") Bulgarian football league. In 1962 Dunav reach final for National Bulgarian Cup (then Cup of Army of Soviet Union). In 1975 Dunav Rousse finish 4th in the championship of Bulgaria and is participant in UEFA Cup tournament.
