Krassimir Balakov was certainly one of the best midfielders ago (he finish his sport career in 2004). His brazilian style of play, his excellent technique, his precise and powerful shots from wide range, his wicked free-kicks and his ability to lead and conduct a game make him a number 10 in the line of Michel Platini or Diego Maradona. Balakov's successes include a Bulgarian championship with Etar Veliko Turnovo, a Portuguese Cup with Sporting Lisbon and all his achievements with the Bulgarian national team such as the 4th place at the 1994 World Cup. Krassimir is a very gentle and sensitive man, his family is very important to him and he enjoys listening to music, arts and playing tennis.
