Valery Bojinov is born on 15 Feb 1986 in town of Gorna ORyahovitza, Bulgaria.
Physically still on the small side, the skillful forward has talent in abundance and is viewed by those in the know as one of European football's best young prospects.
His ability was spotted at a young age by Lecce and he has just finished his third season in Italy, contributing to a pleasing campaign as the Serie A newcomers finished in mid-table security.
This season (2004/2005) he already scored 11 goals (to 31 Jan, 2005) in 16 matches and will now stay at Comunale Via del Mare until 2009. The youngest non-Italian to play in Serie A when he made his debut as a 15-year-old in January 2002, Bojinov played 28 games for Lecce last season and was selected from Hristo Stoichkov in the national team for the Bulgaria UEFA EURO 2004 squad this summer despite never having played at full international level.
At 30.01.2005 Italian ACF Fiorentina Signs Bojinov for € 13 Mln. In a relatively quiet transfer market for this moment, Fiorentina have completed the most surprising move. Dino Zoff’s squad has in fact signed young prodigy Valeri Bojinov in exachange for 13 million Euros and midfielder Jaime Andres Valdes.
This transfer comes as a surprise due to the fact that the highly rated 18 year-old Bulgarian striker was heavily linked in the past week with a move to either Chelsea or Palermo.
From 2006 ro summer of 2007 Valeri Bozhinov was gave to Juventus and have long season as reserve or in second team of Juventus.
From the Summer of 2007 Valeri Bozhinov is player of FC Manchester United (UK) where other Bulgarian national player Martin Petrov was involved too.
