The Kushta James guest house is situated in the heart of Shiroka Laka. The village is a beautiful a?living museumma? where life is dominated by the rhythm of the seasons.

The guest house is situated in the old part of the village. It is a historically important building. There are no fences in the surrounding mountains which makes it a hikerra?s paradise. Mountain guides and motorized tours to regional points of interest can be arranged.

The interior has been completely renovated by traditional Rhodope carpenters and stonemasons and is the last word in modern convenience while retaining the original beautiful wood ceilings floors and magnificent stonework.

The bedrooms are all suite and feature large comfortable beds and mattresses. The house also has a large traditional a?mehanaaa? pub which has a big fireplace for a?chevermeea? parties. Cheverme is the famous Rhodope spit lamb which is done indoors.
