House Kolyo`s Inn is located in a restored "chorbadzhiya" home ("chorbadzhiya" is an old term for the rich Bulgarian elite from the Ottoman times), in the village of Stanchov Han, 14 km southeast of the town of Tryavna, in the Central Balkan National Park.
The Balkan range is the backbone of Bulgaria. It is the most Bulgarian mountain as it lies along the country and sustains the land of Bulgaria. This is why it is Bulgaria`s body. The Balkan range is also the soul of Bulgaria, because it has always kept, protected and preserved the Bulgarian spirit. 
For that reason the Range is the heart of Bulgaria, as throughout the hardest Bulgarian times, it has sheltered in its mountain lap feelings, love and passion for everything which is Bulgarian. This is where Kolyo`s Inn is huddled. Skillfully restored and tastefully furnished, the house offers everything necessary for the guests to go back to the ancient times of the old "balkandzhiyas" ("Balkandzhiya" means "the highlander" and is not a regional but a spiritual identity, designating one who is lofty in the Bulgarian spirit, not one who merely lives in the Balkan), to immerse into the old times and history, and to feel the revival atmosphere.
